About Creation Co-op
Creation Co-op is a Christian project exploring the theology and ethics of creation care through thoughtful writing and the arts.
We exist to help Christians think faithfully about humanity’s moral responsibility toward the created world—not as a political program or cultural trend, but as an expression of discipleship grounded in Scripture, Christian theology, and love of neighbor.
Creation care raises enduring questions:
• What does it mean to confess God as Creator? • How should Christians understand stewardship, responsibility, restraint, and hope in relation to land, animals, and ecosystems?
• How do ordinary vocations and local communities participate in God’s care for creation?
Creation Co-op engages these questions primarily through Christian theology and ethics, drawing on Scripture, the Christian tradition, and thoughtful contemporary reflection. Our work emphasizes moral formation over activism, discernment over reaction, and faithfulness over ideological certainty.
Our Approach
Creation Co-op is guided by several commitments:
Hope Rooted in Renewal – Our hope rests in God’s promise to make all things new.
Theological Grounding – Scripture and historic Christian teaching shape our work.
Ethical Seriousness – Creation care involves real moral responsibility, not slogans.
Charitable Engagement – We resist polarization and write with clarity and humility.
Local Faithfulness – Creation care is lived out in ordinary places and vocations.
Our Mission
Creation Co-op exists to educate, equip, and encourage Christians to think faithfully about creation care—for the glory of God and the good of our neighbors.
